Labour and Tories clash over economic policy in London

Socialist Economic Bulletin published earlier today an article by Ken Livingstone on how to deal with the recession in London - as an example of how local areas should be looking to deal with the economic challenge. By chance Boris Johnson publishes an article in today's Evening Standard on the same topic.
As everyone is always better informed if they know both sides of the argument, those who are interested in what should best be done locally to protect people from the recession are encouraged to look at both. SEB, of course, will comment further.
